Description
We are searching for a talented and dependable guitar teacher to join our school. To be successful as a guitar teacher, you should demonstrate excellent instructional skills and patience. Outstanding candidates are lifelong learners who are always improving their skills. The ability to teach another instrument is a plus!
The guitar teacher’s responsibilities include evaluating students’ needs and preparing lessons that will help them achieve their goals. You will prepare students for recitals and exams and you will communicate parents frequently.
Teachers can set their availability within our open hours. Available teaching hours are Monday-Friday (3:00-8:00pm), and Saturday (9:30am-5:00pm).
Requirements
· Teach in-person lessons at Newark studio (Newark, CA)
· Bachelor's degree in guitar performance/music/music education preferred
· At least 1year of teaching experience preferred
· Excellent communication skills
· Be responsible, punctual, organized, and patient
· Fully vaccinated
· Authorization to work in the US
